അംഗേല മെര്‍ക്കല്‍ ഇന്ത്യയിലെത്തി

ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: ജര്‍മന്‍ ചാന്‍സലര്‍ അംഗേല മെര്‍ക്കല്‍ രണ്ട് ദിവസത്തെ സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിനായി ഇന്ത്യയിലെത്തി. ഞായറാഴ്ച അര്‍ധ രാത്രിയോടെ ന്യൂ ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ എത്തിയ മെര്‍ക്കലിന് ഇന്ന് രാവിലെയാണ് രാഷ്ട്രപതിഭവനില്‍ ഒൗപചാരികമായ സ്വീകരണം ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നത്. അവരെ സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി രാഷ്ട്രപതി ഭവനിലെത്തിയിരുന്നു.

മോദിയുമായി മെര്‍കല്‍ ഇന്ന് ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തും. ഇന്ത്യയും ജര്‍മനി തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യാപാരം ബന്ധം, പ്രതിരോധ രംഗത്തെ സഹകരണം എന്നിവ മുഖ്യ ചര്‍ച്ചയാകും.
