കർഷകാവകാശപ്രവർത്തകൻ അഖിൽ ​െഗാ​േഗായ്​ അറസ്​റ്റിൽ

ന്യൂഡൽഹി: കർഷകാവകാശപ്രവർത്തകൻ അഖിൽ െഗാഗോയിയെ അസം പൊലീസ് വീണ്ടും അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. ദേശീയസുരക്ഷനിയമപ്രകാരമാണ് അറസ്റ്റ്. കൃഷക് മുക്തി സംഗ്രാം സമിതി (കെ.എം.എസ്.എസ്) അധ്യക്ഷനായ െഗാഗോയിയെ സെപ്റ്റംബർ 13ന് രാജ്യദ്രോഹക്കുറ്റം ചുമത്തി ഗോലാഘട്ടിലെ വസതിയിൽനിന്ന് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. അസമിലെ ബി.ജെ.പി സർക്കാറി​െൻറ വിമർശകനായ ഗൊഗോയ് ദിബ്രുഗഢിനടുത്ത് മോറൻ പട്ടണത്തിൽ സെപ്റ്റംബർ 12ന് നടന്ന റാലിയിൽ സർക്കാറിനെതിരെ ആയുധമെടുക്കാൻ ജനങ്ങളോട് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തുവെന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് ആരോപണം. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഹിന്ദുക്കളായ ബംഗ്ലാദേശികൾക്ക് പൗരത്വം അനുവദിക്കാനുള്ള മോദി സർക്കാറി​െൻറ നീക്കം, തദ്ദേശീയരായ ജനതയുടെ അവകാശങ്ങൾ ഭരണഘടനപരമായി സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിലെ സർക്കാർ അനാസ്ഥ തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ മോദി സർക്കാറിനെ വിമർശിച്ച െഗാഗോയ്, അഹൊം സേന പ്രതിരോധത്തിനുപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പരമ്പരാഗത അസമീസ് ആയുധമായ ഹെങ്ദാങ്ങിന് പകരം സർക്കാറിനെതിരെ എ.കെ 47 എടുക്കേണ്ട സമയമായെന്ന് റാലിയിൽ പ്രസംഗിച്ചതായാണ് റിപ്പോർട്ട്. െഗാഗോയിയെ വീണ്ടും അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തെന്ന വാർത്തയെത്തുടർന്ന് സംസ്ഥാനത്തി​െൻറ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ പ്രതിഷേധം അരങ്ങേറി. Farmers' Rights Activist Akhil Gogoi Arrested Under National Security Act New Delhi: Farmers' rights activist Akhil Gogoi was rearrested by the Assam police on September 25 under the National Security Act (NSA). On September 13, the state police slapped the charge of sedition on Gogoi, president of the influential Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), and thereafter arrested him from his Golaghat residence. Gogoi, a vocal critic of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Assam, was accused by the state police of instigating the public to take up arms against the government at a rally held in Moran town near Dibrugarh on September 12. Opposing the Modi government's decission to grant citizenship to Hindu Bangladeshis residing in the state, non-implementation of the 1985 Assam Accord by the central government and dearth of constitutional safeguards to protect the rights of the indigenous people, Gogoi is reported to have said in the public rally that perhaps the time has come to take up AK 47s against the government instead of the hengdang, a traditional Assamese sword used by the Ahom army for defence. Meanwhile, news about Gogoi's rearrest led to street protests in many parts of the state. Powerful student bodies like the Assam Jatiotabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) and the pro-talks United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) leader Jiten Dutta, who shared the stage with Gogoi in the Moran rally, have condemned the state's action and demanded his “immediate and unconditional release.”
