െപാലീസ് ആസ്ഥാനത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധം ന്യൂഡൽഹി: ജെ.എൻ.യു വിദ്യാർഥികളും അധ്യാപകരും നടത്തിയ പ്രതിഷേധ മാർച്ചിനു നേരെ പൊലീസ് ലാത്തിച്ചാർജ് നടത്തിയതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അന്വേഷിക്കാൻ ദേശീയ വനിത കമീഷൻ ഉത്തരവിട്ടു. സംഭവത്തിൽ വനിത മാധ്യമ പ്രവർത്തകരും പൊലീസ് അതിക്രമത്തിന് ഇരയായിരുന്നു. നിരവധി വിദ്യാർഥികളും അധ്യാപകരും അക്കാദമിക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമടക്കം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടാണ് പാർലമ​െൻറ് സമുച്ചയത്തിലേക്ക് പദയാത്ര നടത്തിയത്. പ്രകോപനമില്ലാതെയാണ് മാർച്ചിനു നേരെ പൊലീസ് ആക്രമണം അഴിച്ചുവിട്ടതെന്ന് വിദ്യാർഥികൾ ആരോപിച്ചു. അന്വേഷണത്തിന് സംഘത്തെ നിയോഗിച്ചതായി കമീഷൻ ആക്ടിങ് ചെയർപേഴ്സൻ രേഖ ശർമ അറിയിച്ചു. അതേസമയം, മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകർക്കു നേരെയുണ്ടായ അതിക്രമത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചും ഉേദ്യാഗസ്ഥർക്കെതിരെ അടിയന്തര നടപടി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടും മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകർ ഡൽഹി െപാലീസ് ആസ്ഥാനത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ പ്രതിഷേധം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു. പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർക്കെതിരെ കർശന നടപടി വേണെമന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് രണ്ട് മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകർ അധികൃതർക്ക് പരാതി നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. െപാലീസ് ഉേദ്യാഗസ്ഥർക്കെതിരെ നടപടി വേണമെന്ന് പ്രസ്ക്ലബ് ഒാഫ് ഇന്ത്യ, ഇന്ത്യൻ വിമൻസ് പ്രസ് കോർപ്സ്, പ്രസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ, ഫെഡറേഷൻ ഒാഫ് പ്രസ്ക്ലബ്സ് ഇന്ത്യ എന്നിവ സംയുക്ത പ്രസ്താവനയിൽ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് വിജിലൻസ് യൂനിറ്റ് സ്വതന്ത്ര അന്വേഷണം നടത്തുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിനകം റിപ്പോർട്ട് ലഭിക്കുമെന്നും സ്പെഷൽ പൊലീസ് കമീഷണർ ദീപേന്ദ്ര പഥക് മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരെ അറിയിച്ചു. റിപ്പോർട്ട് പരിഗണിച്ച ശേഷം നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. iscipline among police personnel who enforce law and order in the city...
