CBI nabs VM Radhakrishnan for Saseendran’s death

Palakkad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested businessman V.M Radhakrishnan for the death of former company secretary of Malabar Cements Limited (MCL) V Saseendran and his two sons.

V M Radhakrishnan was arrested by a CBI team headed its SP Nandakumar after calling him for interrogation at the PWD guest house here.

The 46-year-old Saseendran who had worked as the company secretary of MCL for 12 years, had been a prime witness in corruption cases registered against senior company officials.

Saseendran and his two sons were found hanging in their home in Palakkad on January 24, 2011, a few days after the vigilance and anti-corruption bureau filed a charge sheet in one of the corruption cases related to the MCL.
